NFL Youth Football Fund

The NFL Youth Football Fund awards grants to LISC and other nonprofits to refurbish athletic fields in NFL cities.  LISC has been involved with this NFL program since 1998 and over the years has been awarded seven grants to improve fields throughout the city of Jacksonville.

These grants are awarded in tandem by the NFL and LISC to nonprofits in Jacksonville.  The funds are administered by LISC Jacksonville. 

Parks that have been refurbished include:

• Criswell Park
• Mary Lena Gibbs Park
• McCormick Road Complex
• Woodland Acres Club Football Field
• Pine Forest Athletic Field
• Bishop John J. Snyder High School Football Field
• Mallison Park
