Northwest Jacksonville CDC
NJCDC was founded in 2001 with the mission to improve the quality of life in their neighborhood in a way that embraces economic diversity, makes businesses eager to invest, honors area history, and creates a thriving community for families. They help neighbors make their community a place where they are proud to raise their children and where those children choose to return to this community to raise their own families.
NJCDC serves the residents of the 29th and Chase neighborhood, Grand Park and Durkeeville. Through its work, NJCDC has built over 50 homes including Golfair Estates, a signature project of 15 single family homes that are Energy Star-rated and wired for high speed Internet access. NJCDC has several commercial redevelopment projects on the drawing board as it continues to build single family homes in the area.
